“She” has everything that would make her no less competitive than “Him”.
Gracious, Honest, steadfast, humble, adaptable, temperate, graceful and intelligent and much more. “She” has all “he” has but why do people still argue saying that she is not equal to “him”. People believe that mensuration makes her less competitive and make us un-clean. Actually, this does not make her equal to him but she is much more than him.
“Any bed she lies on in this state will be unclean; any place she sits on will be unclean. Anyone who touches her and her belongings should wash otherwise he/she also remains unclean.” And this is so throbbing.
Every month with the flow of blood and the menstrual cramp she goes through gives her strength to bear the pain and that make her much stouter now and then in her life. Such kind of pain never leaves her behind from anything and should never be considered as her weak point. This is the natural process that makes her the creator of the universe, she becomes capable of giving a life to new one.
People consider the flow of blood makes her unclean. Why don’t people understand that this is just a myth and stereotype that has been carried from our ancestors from the Stone Age? When they had no homes, no families none of them noticed that women are discharging blood. Later when they started living as a family under the same roof they found that women discharging blood and it was a problem then. It was a problem because at that time she has no any proper protective clothing or so-called sanitary pads to put on. Wherever she sits she would discharge it and that actually made house dirty. They had no idea what to do so women segregated from the family’s dwelling until the period was over. Now, these days we have hundreds of sanitary pads available and there is no point of saying that women are unclean. We sweat to make our body cool and it had no any harm with that, so does women menstruate to regulate her body naturally. If we neglect washing then sweat from our body smell bad and make us dirty it is not only blood during periods makes women dirty. It is the rare case when women being dirty these days during her periods. So, any kind of physical discharge does not make us unclean or sinful, less holy especially blood during mensuration.
That pain during her periods does not affect her but the way people treat her during her periods does affect her mentally and physically. She can handle her pain herself only she needs is care, love, and support.
